GFA Appoints Eight Young Referees for MTN FA Cup Quarter-Finals

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed eight referees from its "Catch Them Young Refereeing" policy to officiate the MTN FA Cup quarter-final matches scheduled for this weekend.

MTN FA Cup: 8 ‘Catch Them Young’ Referees Selected for Quarterfinal Matches

These young referees will be in charge of the clashes between Attram De Visser and Pac Academy, as well as Karela United and Golden Kick FC. The matches will be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Saturday, March 29, and Sunday, March 30, 2025.

Referee Assignments for the Quarter-Finals

For Saturday’s fixture between Attram De Visser and Pac Academy, the officiating team will include:

• Center Referee: Angelous Akurugu Adonko

• Assistant I: Abraham Partey

• Assistant II: Philip Amoh

• Fourth Official: Theophilus Antwi Sekyi

On Sunday, March 30, Karela United will take on Golden Kick FC, with the following officials in charge:

• Center Referee: Kingsford Oteng Yeboah

• Assistant I: Joseph Teye Awasasi

• Assistant II: Haruna Yakubu

• Fourth Official: Alex Amoabeng

Additionally, Mr. Alex Kotey has been designated as the Match Commissioner for both fixtures.
