Miracle Adoma, wife of renowned Ghanaian media personality Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, has shared an uplifting update on her husband's recovery from a devastating eye injury. In a video posted on her official TikTok page, Miracle—also known as Nana Abena Etruba—was seen jubilating, singing and dancing to a gospel song beside a plush hospital bed.

The video, rich with hope and faith, was captioned with the name “Mawuli,” meaning “There is a God” in Ewe, suggesting that her husband’s condition has significantly improved.

The emotional post comes just weeks after she shared another video of Kofi Adoma walking unassisted on a street abroad, signaling visible signs of recovery. Her most recent post further cements the belief that the seasoned journalist’s health is taking a positive turn.

Kofi Adoma sustained a serious eye injury in December 2024 while covering the Kwafie Festival in Dormaa, an event that also marked the 25th anniversary of Dormaahene Osagyefo Agyeman Badu II. While conducting interviews during the celebration, he was accidentally shot, an incident that left him in excruciating pain and required immediate medical intervention.

Following the incident, Ibrahim Mahama, businessman and younger brother to former President John Dramani Mahama, stepped in and donated $115,000 to facilitate Kofi Adoma’s emergency eye surgery in Dubai.

He was flown out in January 2025, where he underwent multiple surgeries to save his vision. Despite initial signs of progress, Adoma revealed at a March 2025 press conference that he was still grappling with intense pain in his eye and head, making it difficult for him to sleep.

At the same event, he and his wife called out several individuals—including the Dormaahene—for allegedly neglecting him after the tragic incident. He also shared that he needed another surgical procedure to potentially regain vision in the injured eye.

Now, with his wife's recent celebratory post, fans and followers are hopeful that the long, painful journey toward full recovery is nearing a turning point.

Kofi Adoma, known for his deep storytelling and service to journalism, has received widespread support from the public, media fraternity, and fans across Ghana and beyond.
