Accra experienced yet another devastating bout of flooding on Sunday, May 18, 2025, after nearly three hours of intense rainfall brought the capital and nearby municipalities to a halt. Beginning around 3:00 PM, the downpour inundated roads, submerged homes, and left hundreds of commuters stranded in knee-deep floodwaters.

Key Developments from the Flood Aftermath:

• 🚧 Widespread Impacted Areas: Neighborhoods such as Ofankor Barrier, Weija, Kaneshie, Labadi, Dzorwulu, Adabraka, Adentan-Dodowa, and Tema were heavily affected.
