Nana Kofi reveals he has just a year to live after a deadly sakawa ritual, sparking alarm over money rituals in Ghana.

In a shocking and emotional revelation on Promise TV, a young man identified as Nana Kofi, from Dormaa, opened up about the horrifying consequences of engaging in Sakawa, a widely condemned money ritual practice in Ghana.

Calling into a live program, Nana Kofi recounted how abandonment by his father pushed him to seek financial success through occult practices.

“My father did not take care of me after he broke up with my mother. Out of frustration, I followed friends into quick-money rituals,” he confessed.

Though the ritual brought him wealth—seven houses and multiple assets—Nana Kofi says his riches are cursed. According to him, he is unable to spend more than GH¢30 a day, regardless of how much he owns. The cost of giving money to others is also chilling.

“Before I can give someone money, I must perform a ritual that includes eating human feces and drinking newborn urine,” he revealed.

When pressed on where such substances are obtained, he declined to name sources but confirmed they are sold.

In a cryptic yet haunting statement, he added:

“I have only one year to live in this world. The chicken could only eat three pieces of corn,” suggesting his time is running out based on ritual symbolism.

Now, filled with regret, Nana Kofi is pleading for help, saying he wants to be saved from the torment he faces daily.
