20-year-old Boy Run Away With GHS 8,000 On His First Day At Work As A Momo Attendant

A young man believed to be in his early twenties has allegedly fled with over GHC 8,000 on his first day at work as a Mobile Money (MoMo) attendant.

According to Crime Check TV, the incident occurred on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

The suspect had reportedly visited a MoMo agent under the pretense of seeking employment.

After expressing interest in the job, he was given an opportunity and briefly trained in the operations of the business.

However, before the day ended, the new recruit allegedly asked to use the washroom after his trainer stepped out to attend to another matter.

During that brief window, he is said to have emptied the shop’s coffers, taking away an amount exceeding GHC 8,000.

The suspect has since gone missing, and efforts to reach him have proven futile as his phone remains switched off.

That is him in the video. Let’s help find him,” Crime Check TV appealed in its post, calling on the public to assist in locating the runaway suspect.
