Farida Mahama, the daughter of former Ghanaian President John Mahama and former First Lady Lordina Mahama, continues to build a reputation for compassion and leadership through her philanthropic work. Her latest outreach effort took place at the Atua Government Hospital in Odumase Krobo, where she and her team from the Serenity Community Club (SCC) delivered an array of donations to assist patients and improve the hospital’s operations.
The donation featured essential items like diapers, baby food, toiletries, rice, sugar, and beverages, as well as medical tools such as mobile IV stands designed to enhance patient care.
Farida interacted warmly with hospital staff and patients, taking particular interest in mothers and children, whose joy and gratitude were evident. Health workers commended her selflessness and praised the SCC team for their continued commitment to supporting the less privileged.
In her remarks to journalists, Farida announced that SCC is expanding its reach beyond education to include healthcare support, underscoring her determination to touch lives in multiple sectors. She emphasized the importance of community-driven charity and pledged to sustain the group’s mission of service. Before leaving, she posed for photos with the hospital staff and patients, moments that later gained widespread attention and praise on social media.
This outreach follows a previous donation at La Polyclinic in the Greater Accra Region. Having started as a student-led initiative, the Serenity Community Club is now evolving under Farida’s leadership into a broader force for social impact. Her acts of generosity have cemented her image as a young, purpose-driven Ghanaian dedicated to uplifting others.
