Shoe Shine Boy Who Pretended To Be A Soldier To Date A Nurse Has Been Arrested

Shoe Shine boy who pretended to be a soldier to do shuperu several times with a nurse, because she promised will never marry any man apart from a soldier, has been arrested

A young Ghanaian nurse, Esther Onsonyameye, has been left heartbroken and humiliated after discovering that the man she believed to be a soldier was, in fact, a shoeshiner stationed at Burma Camp.

According to a report by Crime Check TV, Esther’s relationship with the impostor, identified as Frank Anaab, began on social media, where he flaunted photos of himself in military uniform, posing as a Ghanaian soldier.

Drawn by her admiration for men in uniform, Esther admitted that she had vowed to marry a soldier at all costs, a desire that unfortunately led her into Frank’s deceitful web.

“I bought assorted provisions, mosquito nets, bedsheets, and other things to make him comfortable at his camp, not knowing he was a fake soldier. He deceived me,” Esther lamented.

The nurse said their relationship lasted about a year. Frank often stayed with her but would leave at night, claiming he was reporting for duty, a routine that deepened her trust.

Things took a shocking turn when Esther, out of love and pride, posted photos of her supposed soldier boyfriend on social media.

Within hours, she was contacted by several women who claimed to be romantically involved with the same man.

Teaming up with the other women, Esther confronted Frank, only to learn the disturbing truth, her “soldier” lover was no military man but a shoeshiner who worked around Burma Camp.

During the interrogation, he reportedly failed to mention his unit number or provide any credible service details, confirming he was an impostor.

Esther revealed that Frank had also taken money from her under the pretense of repaying once his salary was paid , a ploy he allegedly used to defraud other unsuspecting women.

Crime Check TV further reported that Frank had been posing as a recruiter, extorting money from victims with false promises of helping them enlist in the army.

Now disillusioned, Esther says her experience is a painful reminder of how blind love and misplaced trust can lead to devastating consequences.

Maybe I was too genuine,” she reflected. “I just wanted to love someone who I thought was disciplined and honest.”
