Ghana’s Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has expressed renewed optimism for the country’s future, following her return from a period of medical recovery abroad. In her first official statement, shared via her verified X (formerly Twitter) account, she wrote:
“It is a joy to be back, and I look forward to us coming together to build a united and prosperous nation for all. Thank you very much and God bless us all.”

Professor Opoku-Agyemang, a former Minister of Education and trailblazing academic, is expected to resume a full schedule of public engagements in the coming days.
